PDM bor (niðurholu mótor)
Niðurholumótorinn er tegund rafmagnsverkfæra niðri í holu sem tekur afl frá vökvanum og breytir síðan vökvaþrýstingi í vélræna orku. Þegar aflvökvi flæðir inn í vökvamótorinn getur þrýstingsmunurinn sem er byggður á milli inntaks og úttaks mótorsins snúið snúningnum innan statorsins, sem veitir nauðsynlegt tog og hraða til borunar til að bora. Skrúfaborunartólið hentar fyrir lóðrétta, stefnubundna og lárétta brunna.
